(Disregard the cut off sentence above) While both writers connected their topics in different ways, they both share how art crime affects the world. Dolnick focuses on the pursuit of the return of “The Scream,” while Scotti focuses on the background and motives the thieves had when taking “Mona Lisa.” I thoroughly enjoyed both of these books and learned a great deal of information about art crime. Art is expressive and valuable concluding that it should be cherished rather than mistreated.
