Post #1: In the book “Angela’s Ashes” I found the author, Frank McCourt, used myriad descriptions which helped me comprehend the individual's personalities. But the descriptiveness was agonizing to read. When reading the book skepticism arose when dialogue occurred. The author doesn’t use quotation marks which, I’ve never seen before. The author's writing style was enraging. It was bewildering when first reading the book because I didn’t understand the meaning of the word “pram.” When I further read, I learned the word “pram” means a stroller.
